La Financière de l’Echiquier recruits a Country Manager for Benelux
La Financière de l’Echiquier (LFDE) announces Stéphane Van Tilborg’s appointment as Country Manager for Benelux effective 9 July 2018. Based in Brussels and Paris, Stéphane will spearhead LFDE’s growth in this market with banks, insurers and institutional investors. He will work under the responsibility of Christophe Mianné, La Financière de l’Echiquier’s CEO.
Before joining La Financière de l’Echiquier, Stéphane was in charge of business development at Carmignac Gestion in Belgium.

His solid experience will contribute to accelerating our development in Benelux, a strategic market for La Financière de l’Echiquier, with assets under management of more than €500 million, commented Christophe Mianné. “Following the recent recruitments in Italy and Germany, LFDE’s ambitious growth plan for Europe thus remains on track.”
LFDE has operated in Belgium and Luxembourg since 2004 where it markets primarily its range of concentrated and high added value funds.
About Stéphane Van Tilborg
With a degree from Université Libre de Bruxelles and an EFPA-certified Independent Financial Planner, Stéphane has more than 20 years’ experience in financial planning and business development in the segment of large international investors. Beginning his career as an economic and financial advisor with Business Europe, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1998 as a consultant in strategy and organization and Deloitte in 2004. From 2007 to 2014, he developed his own consulting business with a customer base originating primarily from the asset management and insurance sectors. Before joining LFDE, Stéphane was in charge of business development at Carmignac Gestion in Belgium in the bank and insurance segment.
