La Financière de l’Echiquier tops 2019 Alpha League Table

La Financière de l’Echiquier (LFDE) is proud to announce that it has taken first place in this prestigious ranking. The asset management company came second last year.

The honour underlines the quality of its stock picking and the consistency of the alpha[1] generation of its portfolio management teams. LFDE has one of the highest alpha rates in the competition: 4.98%, a clear increase on the previous year’s 4.08%[2].

The Alpha League Table, compiled by SIX, is a benchmark ranking for investment management companies investing in French stocks, which focuses on the capacity to generate performance.

This top ranking confirms the quality of the strategies deployed by the investment management company, 44% of whose funds hold 4 and 5 Morningstar stars. A number of funds are in the top decile, including:

– Echiquier Agenor Mid Cap Europe
– Echiquier World Equity Growth

The work of Frédéric Buzaré, portfolio manager for Echiquier Agressor since October, also earned its rewards.
