La Financière de l’Echiquier appoints its Director of Communications & Marketing
La Financière de l’Echiquier (LFDE) announces the appointment of Saphia Gaouaoui as Communications & Marketing Director, effective 4 June. Specialised in financial communications, Saphia Gaouaoui, who will serve on La Financière de l’Echiquier’s management team, will initially be tasked with deploying the brand in France and Europe and accelerating the digital strategy.
Christophe Mianné, LFDE’s Chief Executive Officer, commented: “Saphia’s recruitment will contribute to La Financière de l’Echiquier’s development plan and new European ambitions. I am very pleased by her arrival. Her international experience will make a valuable contribution to achieving our objectives.”

About Saphia Gaouaoui
Saphia Gaouaoui was in charge of press relations and co-manager of external communications for Société Générale since June 2017, where she was responsible notably for defining the press relations and brand content strategies. She began her career in 2004 as a financial communications manager. After working for Option Finance as a journalist specialised in asset management, she became press relations manager for Banque de Financement et d’Investissement, then for Société Générale’s private banking and asset management division. Saphia holds master’s degrees in finance from Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne University and applied economics and market finance from Paris IX Dauphine.
