La Financière de l’Echiquier (LFDE) announces changes in its management team.

Maroussia Ermeneux, until now Deputy Chief Operating Officer, replaces Sébastien d’Ornano as Chief Operating Officer. Sébastien will be joining in a few weeks an entrepreneurial project in the asset management space.

Bertrand Merveille, until now Head of Compliance and Internal Control, becomes Head of Private Management. He is replaced by Elsa Scoury.

Bertrand Merveille’s career highlights
Bertrand Merveille began his career in 2003 with the French financial market regulator, the AMF (Autorité des marchés financiers) where he became Deputy Head of Service Providers in 2007, then Director of the Investment Service Provider division. He joined La Financière de l’Echiquier in 2007 as Head of Compliance and Internal Control, and in 2016 was appointed Head of Private Client Management. Bertrand has a Master’s degree in Financial Market Law and Economics from the University of Caen.

Maroussia Ermeneux’ career highlights
Maroussia began her career with Ernst & Young in 1997 first as an M&A analyst, and then as auditor. In 1999, she joined PwC in New York as a senior associate responsible for the financial market sector, then in 2002 headed to Geneva where she pursued her career as auditor. Five years later, she joined the finance department of HSBC Private Bank, also in Geneva, first as Associate Director in charge of asset liability management (until 2007) and then in charge of private clients mandates and performance control. Maroussia joined Acropole AM in 2011, first as manager for internal control, compliance and risk management before being appointed as chief operating officer in 2012. When this company was acquired by La Financière de l’Echiquier in 2013, she was appointed Deputy COO and then COO. Maroussia has a degree from EM Lyon (Major in Finance).

Elsa Scoury’ career highlights
Elsa began her career in 2011 with PwC as auditor for asset management activities. After four years, she joined the internal control department of La Financière de l’Echiquier. She has a Master’s degree from ESC Rouen and an MBA from the University of Ottawa (Canada). She also has a diploma in accounting and management.
