Progress in LFDE’s ESG strategy rewarded by the UN PRI

La Financière de l’Echiquier (LFDE) has been awarded an A grade by the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI) for each of the five pillars of its ESG1 strategy.

Launched in 2006, the UN PRI, of which LFDE has been a signatory since 2008, is the leading global initiative for responsible investment. It encourages investors to integrate Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) factors into the management of their investments. LFDE earned an A grade on each of the five pillars in 2019.

The grade reflects LFDE’s requirement that ESG factors be taken into account, that votes be cast at all general meetings, as well as its commitment to companies and their transparency efforts, which are central to its responsible investment and asset management strategy. The improvement in our grade compared with 2018 reflects the consistency of our efforts to include ESG criteria in all asset classes, particularly for bond and balanced management.
