La Financière de l’Echiquier wins the European equity prize at the GFSI Swiss Sustainable Funds Awards

La Financière de l’Echiquier (LFDE) is proud to have been awarded the European equity prize for Echiquier Positive Impact Europe[1] at the GFSI Swiss Sustainable Funds Awards ceremony, held on 12 June 2019 in Geneva.

“We are very happy to have been chosen among the best European equity managers through a prize that recognises both finance performances and socially responsible investment (SRI) commitment.” said Benjamin Canlorbe, Country Manager of Switzerland. As a pioneer in sustainable investment in France, LFDE believes that sustainable finance has a role to play in meeting planetary challenges and in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

GFSI Swiss Sustainable Funds Awards

For the first time in Switzerland, the GFSI Swiss Sustainable Funds Awards have been handed out to asset managers and funds that are both the best-performing and the most committed to socially responsible investment. These prizes aim to enhance the visibility of the top sustainable investment management players based on specific ESG criteria set in partnership with Conser and quantitative data analysed by the independent firm Anglo-Swiss Advisors.

The funds selected for the GFSI Swiss Sustainable Funds Awards were chosen by an independent jury consisting of actors who are well-regarded in the Swiss financial landscape. This initiative, which is encouraged by investment professionals and backed by the city and canton of Geneva, the Fondation Genève Place Financière and Sustainable Finance Geneva, aims at truly recognising the best practices and know-how.
