La Financière de l'Échiquier tops the Alpha League Table 2 years in a row
La Financière de l’Échiquier (LFDE) wins first place in the Alpha League Table 2020. LFDE also topped the benchmark ranking in 2019. Developed by SIX, it awards the best asset management companies for the ability of their equities management to generate alpha – the risk-adjusted performance – and the persistence of outperformance.
In this ranking, which compares 330 managers, LFDE has the highest average alpha, at 4.26%, far ahead of the 2nd position (2.2%).
Among the 8 best European equity funds in the ranking, 5 are managed by LFDE. The best results in the Top 10 come from small and mid caps, led by Echiquier Entrepreneurs (6.39%) managed by LFDE. Echiquier Agenor SRI Mid Cap Europe is the largest contributor to average alpha (5.14%).
Echiquier Positive Impact Europe and Echiquier World Equity Growth also delivered particularly distinctive performances.
