Purpose of the Foundation

Unite the company’s employees around an ideal of solidarity and give people in vulnerable situations a chance to get their lives back on track: the main purpose of the Foundation, hosted by the Fondation de France, expresses our desire to share.

Since 2010, donations have been accompanied by an equal opportunities program, Maisons des Jeunes Talents. It helps scholarship students gain access to the most prestigious higher education institutions: what could be more exciting than helping talented and deserving young people realise the dream of attending one of these schools?

The Foundation is 20 years old

In 2026, the LBP AM Group Foundation celebrates 20 years of commitment, connections, and projects! A pioneer in corporate philanthropy within a French asset management firm when it was founded by La Financière de l’Échiquier, the Foundation has continually evolved to expand its impact. Relive the key milestones of this journey and meet the people—experts, board members, project leaders, and partners—who have shaped the Foundation.

How the foundation works

The LBP AM Group Foundation is governed by a Strategic Committee that sets its overall direction. Chaired by Emmanuelle Mourey, Chair of the Executive Board of LBP AM and of the Foundation, the committee is composed of representatives from the Group’s subsidiaries and external experts in the Foundation’s areas of focus. The Strategic Committee delegates decision-making authority regarding the allocation of financial support to project leaders to Engagement Committees. These committees, composed of LBP AM Group employees and external experts, meet several times a year. They review projects preselected by the Foundation’s team and decide on the requested funding. The Foundation’s team identifies and selects the most interesting and relevant projects within its areas of focus and develops strong partnerships with organizations and other sponsors.

Maisons des Jeunes Talents

Created in 2010 by the foundation, the association 'Maisons des Jeunes Talents' (Homes for Young Talent) houses and supports young scholarship students in their preparatory classes in Paris and Lyon. Between 45 and 50 students are welcomed each year, and 327 students have been supported since the association was founded.

The endowment

The Foundation's budget comes from Group revenues and external donors.

98% of the budget comes from the Group, part of which comes from the management fees of three funds managed by Financière de l'Échiquier: Echiquier Excelsior, Echiquier Agressor and Echiquier Positive Impact Europe. External donors, whether customers or employees, contribute 2%.
